Counter Terrorism and Counter Narcotics Designation Update, Russia-related Designation Removal

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated the identifiers for a Mexican timeshare resort engaged in fraud on behalf of the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG). On February 19, 2026, OFAC designated Kovay Gardens pursuant to E.O. 14059 and pursuant to E.O. 13224, as amended, for being owned, controlled, or directed by, or having acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, directly or indirectly, CJNG.
