  • Compliance Hotline

Contact OFAC's Compliance Hotline for assistance complying with OFAC sanctions and navigating OFAC's resources.  The Compliance Hotline can help with the following:

    • How to use and check OFAC's sanctions lists
    • Submit or follow up on inquiries made to OFAC's Compliance Hotline
    • Compliance-related questions, such as potential matches to a list or guidance on specific sanctions programs

  • Licensing Hotline

OFAC Licensing is the primary point of contact for requesting authorization to release blocked funds or for transactions that otherwise would be prohibited by OFAC's sanctions. Licensing can help with the following:

    • Applying for a specific license
    • Interpretive guidance about authorizations issued by OFAC
  • Self Disclosure Portal

OFAC’s Self Disclosure Portal provides a streamlined, secure method for submitting voluntary self-disclosures of potential violations of OFAC-administered sanctions programs.  OFAC encourages anyone who may have violated OFAC-administered sanctions programs, or anyone who is aware of potential violations of, to disclose them to OFAC. Self disclosure to OFAC is considered a mitigating factor in OFAC enforcement actions and, pursuant to OFAC’s Economic Sanctions Enforcement Guidelines, will result in a reduction in the base amount of any possible civil penalty.

  • Technical Support

OFAC Technical Support is a resource for the public when they are experiencing issues with OFAC's website, Sanctions List Service, Sanctions List Search tool, or OFAC's sanctions list files. Technical support can help users with issues that include the following:

  • Reconsideration

OFAC Reconsideration is the primary point of contact for persons seeking to file a request or petition to be removed from the SDN list (or other sanctions list). Once received, the Reconsideration team will thoroughly review the petition before issuing a determination.
