Issuance of Amended Venezuela-related General License 5A and Frequently Asked Question

The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is issuing amended General License 5A “Authorizing Certain Transactions Related to the Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. 2020 8.5 Percent Bond on or After January 22, 2020.” In conjunction with this action, OFAC is amending Frequently Asked Question 595.
