Publication of Cyber-related Frequently Asked Questions

The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is providing four FAQs related to the December 29, 2016, sanctions imposed on the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the February 2, 2017, issuance of General License 1, “Authorizing Certain Transactions with the Federal Security Service,” pursuant to Executive Order 13694 of April 1, 2015, “Blocking the Property of Certain Persons Engaging in Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities.”
