​Publication of New Frequently Asked Question Regarding the Payments or the Facilitation of Payments to Iranian Civil Aviation Authorities for Overflights of Iran or Landing in Iran

Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) 417, Payments or the Facilitation of Payments to Iranian Civil Aviation Authorities for Overflights of Iran or Landing in Iran.  OFAC updated FAQ 417 to reflect the lifting of nuclear-related secondary sanctions under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
