Section 1244(c) of the Iran Freedom and Counter-Proliferation Act of 2012 (“IFCA”) requires the President to block and prohibit all transactions in all property and interests in property of persons that the President determines, on and after the date that is 180 days after the date of its enactment, (a) is part of the energy, shipping, or ship building sectors of Iran; or (b) operates a port in Iran. Those persons determined to meet the above criteria will have either "IFCA Determination - Involved in Energy Sector"; "IFCA Determination - Involved in the Shipbuilding Sector"; "IFCA Determination - Involved in the Shipping Sector"; or "IFCA Determination - Port Operator" annotated in their SDN listing.
