Sudan Sanctions Interpretive Guidance Issued

OFAC has issued interpretive guidance to assist U.S. persons in complying with the provisions of Executive Order 13412 of October 13, 2006 ("E.O. 13412"), and in understanding the relationship of these provisions to the sanctions imposed by Executive Order 13067 of November 3, 1997. The guidance describes the prohibitions of E.O. 13412 and discusses transhipments and financial transactions in Sudan.
