Issuance of new Syria Executive Order

The President has signed a new Executive Order against the Government of Syria, taking additional steps with respect to the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13338. The Executive Order blocks property of persons connected with terrorist acts in Lebanon. As of yet, no persons have been designated under this Executive Order but the order authorizes the Secretary of Treasury to take such action.
