The “Introduction to OFAC” web series is a series of short videos created to provide viewers with a high-level introduction on the fundamentals of the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and U.S. sanctions implementation. This first episode introduces viewers to OFAC and its place within the U.S. government, as well as its history, mission, and relationship with the public.

This video introduces viewers to different types of OFAC sanctions lists and provides a brief tutorial on how to use OFAC’s Sanction List Search tool to assess potential matches to sanctioned persons.
